There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.

Northwest vs. US Airways
Friday, 01 February 2008 00:00

The experiences I had on my two January trips were not bad, but they were far from perfect. Northwest Airlines receives an exceptional rating due to their excellent customer service and communication despite the significant delays while US Airways does well in comfort, in-flight food, and entertainment. I would like to see better customer service from US Airways in the future however. It is interesting to note that my London Flight will also be on Northwest so we'll see how their international flight compares to their domestic flights next month.

New York City Part 1

The Land of Lights, Skyscrapers, and uhhh Taxis...

I have never been to the northeast before so I thought it would be fun to visit New York City to start the year off. An uneventful evening Northwest flight into La Guardia brought an amazing view once we entered into the traffic pattern…lights as far as the eye could see suddenly transformed into a veil of darkness as we circled over the Atlantic Ocean. Upon landing I quickly found the waiting driver and headed into Manhattan.....

Tucson.....Part Duex
Sunday, 07 October 2007 19:59

This weekends trip was a quick trip down to Tucson to escape the craziness of the Phoenix Metro Area, not like it's much better down there but it is an improvement....

The first stop was the Pima Air Museum, always a stop on any trip as it's constantly evolving as new exhibits and aircraft are added on an almost monthly basis. Some recent additionas include a British Bristol Blenheim bomber from World War II and a new hanger housing some of my favorite aircraft including an S-3 Viking, an A-10 Thunderbolt II, and an SR-71 Blackbird.

Next up was the Tucson Zoo at Reid Park, I had never been there before and it's actually a nice zoo. They have a few interesting exhibits including otters and a little herd of Zebras.

All in All a nice little escape from Phoenix. Photos have been added in the Photo Album under Weekend Trips....Hopefully I'll have some more time for this site soon but I have been quite busy.

Oh so busy

Alright, I've been absent from this project for the last two months now. I've been rather busy with several side projects as of late. I've also come to the conclusion that I want to document and post some work I'm doing on a side hobby of mine, that said, I've decided to work on a new site that will exist in lieu of that one. Hopefully I'll have some free time soon and start updating this site!
